Operation
As a coil arrives to the strapping position, the strapping machine is in it’s rear position with strap guides open. Upon signal, it moves forward toward the coil and closes the strap guides through the eye of the coil. Strap is fed through the strap guides, and the Strapping Unit clamps the strap. The strap is then stretched around the coil, and the Strapping Unit performs the seal and cuts the strap. The coil can now be rotated and another strap can be applied, or the coil may be further conveyed.
