SMA

The main function of the SMA is to strap bundles of square and round profiles. The SMA can be equipped with different types of strapping head. As an option the machine can be equipped with a tag marking system.

Fully automatic

The machine is fully automatic, but can also be operated manually from a control panel.

Customizable

The SMA is designed to meet customers requirements. You can choose the strapping head after your needs and with the optional tag marking system it makes the machine customizable for the customer.

Easy access for service and spare and wear parts makes the SMA very low-maintenance.

Strapping heads

SBHX5

The SBHX5 seals the strap by punching five pairs of seals through the strap. Up to 200% tighter straps against small bundles.

SBHRW

This strapping head gives a very tight strap against bundles for critical applications.

Four spot welding joint – up to 90% of the tensile strenght of the steel strap.

SBHW

This strapping head is called SBHW.

It seals the strap by TIG welding

spots.

Remote service

With the Sund Birsta IoT solution, our specialists can perform remote diagnostics and troubleshooting of your equipment. This can also allow for improved preventive maintenance and optimization.
