This is the Sund Groups first SUNDCO-V contract since 2018, and the first project awarded directly to our local subsidiary where we are now independently manufacturing the equipment. The technical heritage of the Sund Birsta Group, and the intercompany collaboration enables Sund Birsta Metallurgical to perform a complete delivery, adapted for the Chinese market. Our cost-competitive, proven and reliable products have earned recognition from domestic clients including ZISCO already using similar equipment from the Sund Group on their premises. This is a key milestone for Sund Birsta Metallurgical.
Sund Birsta Metallurgical has today performed upgrading and renovation projects on all coil compactor and binding machine product lines, based on the extensive experience servicing Chinese customers. As China’s market transition, hundreds of original Sund Birsta coil compactors and binding machines remain in operation across the country. Sund Birsta Metallurgical is capable to restore used equipment to near-new condition at highly competitive prices, making them once again capable of delivering value for the customers.
Sund Birsta Metallurgical will continue to leverage the group’s strong technical capabilities on the Chinese market, and serving local customers.
